About BikeShift Gurgaon
BikeShift Gurgaon is the bike and scooter transport contact behind biketransportgurgaon.com. We take enquiries from people moving a two-wheeler out of Gurugram, or within it, and work out what that particular move needs: the model and its condition, the two addresses, how the bike can be collected, and which arrangement suits the route.
This page is for the checking-before-you-call part of your decision. It explains who we are, what we can discuss, what a clear booking with us should contain, and what to do if plans change. For route prices and transit times, the route guides are the better place to look.

Share your model, pickup and delivery areas and preferred date. Confirm the available arrangements and itemised scope before booking.
Who we are and why people contact us
BikeShift Gurgaon is a business service contact for two-wheeler transport enquiries starting in Gurugram. It is not a directory or a comparison list of other companies. When you call, email or fill in the form on this site, you are talking to us about your own vehicle and your own dates.
Most people who reach us are in the middle of a bigger move. An engineer has a joining date in Bangalore. A family is leaving a rented flat in Sushant Lok at month-end. A student is heading home after a course and does not want to ride the bike across several states. Someone else simply wants a motorcycle at a new address without riding it there. What they have in common is the need for someone to look at the bike, the route and both addresses together before talking about a price.
Our focus is deliberately narrow: model-aware enquiries, a clearly agreed scope, route guides that answer practical questions, and a proper record of the bike's condition and the receiver at the other end.
Why your bike needs its own plan when you relocate
When you leave Gurugram, you and your bike rarely travel together. You might fly or take a train and arrive the same day; the bike goes by road on its own schedule, is collected from one place and handed over at another, sometimes to someone other than you. Most confusion in a bike move comes from that gap.
A few things are worth settling early:
- Move-out date versus collection date. If your society wants the parking slot cleared or your lease ends on a fixed day, collection has to happen before that, not after.
- Who will be at the destination. If the bike arrives before you do, a person you trust has to receive it, check it and sign. Their name and number belong on the booking.
- Household goods moving separately. If packers are moving your home, decide clearly whether the bike goes with them or separately, so that neither party assumes the other has it.
- Documents and keys. Keep original papers with you. Know which copies the booking needs and how many keys will travel with the bike.
Two-wheelers and arrangements we can discuss
Every enquiry is assessed on the model, its condition, the route, access at both ends and what can be arranged on that route for your dates. Being able to discuss a type of move is not the same as automatic availability, so treat the points below as what we look at, not a promise for every date.
Types of two-wheelers
- Commuter bikes and scooters: the most common enquiries, and usually simple when the vehicle runs and access is easy.
- Cruisers and heavier bikes: weight, width, chrome and crash guards affect how the bike is handled and packed.
- Faired sports bikes: fairing edges, mounts and clip-on handlebars need extra attention.
- High-value motorcycles: declared value, packing and whether a separate arrangement makes sense are discussed before any quote.
- Electric scooters and bikes: whether a particular EV can be accepted depends on the model, the battery and the carrier's conditions. We will tell you whether it can travel and pass on any charge-level or isolation instruction.
- Non-running vehicles: these can be discussed, but please mention it at the start. A bike that cannot be started or wheeled easily needs different loading, and that changes both the plan and the price.
Local and intercity moves
A move within Gurugram or to a nearby NCR address is mainly about timing and access. An intercity move adds the carrier arrangement, transit time and the handover in the destination city. The route guides cover the intercity side in more detail.
Door point or confirmed loading point
Door collection means collection at a lawful, accessible point at or near your address, which is not always your exact parking bay. Some societies need the vehicle brought to the gate, a ground-level bay or a security-approved release point. Where that applies, the booking should name the agreed point.
Shared carrier or separately quoted direct arrangement
Many bikes travel on a shared carrier along with other consignments. This is usually more economical but follows that carrier's schedule. On some routes, a direct or dedicated arrangement may be possible at extra cost. If a direct option is offered, it should be quoted separately so you can compare the two properly.
What an informed booking with us looks like
The reason for a clear booking is practical: when the bike is handed over in another city, both sides should be able to check what was agreed. These are the points worth settling before collection.
| Thing to agree | Why it matters | What information helps |
|---|---|---|
| Exact model and condition | Size, weight, fairings, accessories and whether it runs decide handling, packing and space. | Brand, model, variant, year, running or not, existing scratches or damage, fitted accessories. |
| Both addresses and access | Entry rules, basement height and parking decide where and when collection and delivery can happen. | Sector or locality, society or office name, basement level, gate pass rules, any timing restrictions. |
| Rate scope and taxes | A total is only meaningful when you know what it includes and what would be extra. | What packing, collection, carriage and delivery are covered, applicable taxes if charged, and any extras. |
| Cover option | The terms of the cover you choose decide what can be claimed and how. | Declared value, the cover option selected, who provides it, and its inclusions and exclusions. |
| Dispatch and appointments | Leaving Gurugram is not the same as reaching your door; each step has its own timing. | Collection appointment, expected dispatch, expected delivery appointment, and who confirms each one. |
| Authorised receiver | Avoids handover to the wrong person and wasted delivery attempts. | Receiver's name and phone, any ID they should carry, and whether you will be there yourself. |
| Condition record, keys and accessories | Gives both sides the same starting point if anything is questioned later. | Photos at collection, odometer reading where recorded, number of keys, and which accessories travel. |
| Invoicing and service party | You should know whom you are paying and who is responsible at each stage. | The name of the invoicing party and who collects, carries and delivers the bike. |
You do not need all of this at first contact. The form takes the basics, and the rest is settled as the quote firms up. If anything in the final quote is unclear, ask before you pay.
How we approach Gurugram societies, basements and offices
Gurugram's housing mix makes collection more varied than it looks on a map. DLF Phases and Palam Vihar have plenty of independent houses and builder floors with lane or stilt parking. Golf Course Road, Sohna Road and New Gurgaon are dominated by high-rise societies with deep basements and busy security desks. Sushant Lok falls somewhere in between, and Manesar has industrial and residential pockets with their own entry rules.
We can discuss collections in these areas and elsewhere in Gurugram, but we do not assume every address works the same way. These are the things that decide the actual plan:
- Basement clearance. Many basements have low headroom and tight ramps. Instead of assuming a vehicle can reach any basement level, we check whether collection can happen at your parking level or whether the bike should be brought up to a ground-level or gate release point.
- Security and visitor rules. Some societies need a gate pass, advance intimation or a resident present before a vehicle leaves. It helps to speak to your facility team a day or two before.
- Office and plant release points. If the bike is parked at a workplace in Cyber City, Udyog Vihar or a Manesar plant, security may need written permission before releasing it.
- Timing windows. Some societies limit commercial vehicle movement to certain hours, which affects the collection slot.
If you would rather drop the bike yourself or visit a collection point or yard, please confirm the location and time with us first. Do not travel to any address until it has been confirmed to you directly.
What accountability looks like after you book
Plans change during a relocation. Flights move, receivers change, and a society may block entry on a festival day. The way to handle it is the same each time: tell us early and keep a written trail.
- Keep your booking details together. Save the booking reference, the contact number you were given, the agreed scope, the cover details and every payment receipt in one place.
- Tell us about changes. If the receiver, delivery address or your availability changes, inform your contact as soon as you know, preferably in writing so it is on record.
- Ask when something is late. If the bike has not arrived when expected, ask for an update and a revised appointment. A clear answer is part of the service.
- Check before you sign. Inspect the bike at delivery. If you find damage, photograph it, note it on the delivery record where possible, and report it to us promptly with the photos and booking reference.
How any claim is handled depends on the cover you chose and its terms, so read those before booking. Our Terms & Conditions set out the general terms of service, and our Privacy Policy explains how the details you share with us are used.
Where to find prices and route details
This page does not carry price tables or transit times, because those depend on the route, the model and the agreed scope. Each corridor has its own guide:
- Bike transport from Gurgaon to Bangalore
- Bike transport from Gurgaon to Mumbai
- Bike transport from Gurgaon to Pune
There are also route guides for Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Dehradun and Lucknow, linked in the site footer. For an overview of the service and pricing factors, start with our home page.
How to reach BikeShift Gurgaon
It helps to send your Gurugram pickup area, destination, exact model, whether it runs and your preferred date. If there is a fixed deadline, such as a move-out date or a joining date, mention it at the start so the plan is built around it.
Check the booking details before paying
Match the name on your written quotation with the invoice issuer and payment recipient. If different names appear, ask the booking contact to explain the arrangement before you pay. Keep that explanation with the quotation and receipt.
If GST is charged, ask for the registration details shown on the invoice and verify them through the official GST portal. This page does not publish a GSTIN or a walk-in address. A logo, a forwarded certificate or a very low phone quote is not a substitute for checking who will handle your booking.
Questions people ask about BikeShift Gurgaon
Is BikeShift Gurgaon a transport service or a listing site?
BikeShift Gurgaon is a business service contact for bike and scooter transport enquiries from Gurugram, not a directory of other providers. When you contact us through this site, the enquiry is about your own vehicle and move. Your confirmed quote should name the party that issues the invoice and explain how collection and delivery are being arranged, so you know exactly who you are dealing with.
Who issues the invoice and who collects my bike?
That is confirmed for each booking rather than assumed. Before you pay, the quote should state the invoicing party, the collection arrangement in Gurugram, the carrier arrangement for the route and how delivery will be handled at the destination. If any of these is missing or names someone you did not expect, ask us to clarify it in writing first.
Is BikeShift Gurgaon IBA approved?
No. BikeShift Gurgaon does not hold IBA approval. If your employer's relocation policy or reimbursement process asks for an IBA-approved transporter, check with your HR or relocation team before booking, so the paperwork you receive matches what they need.
Can you collect from any society or basement in Gurgaon?
We can discuss collections across Gurugram, including DLF Phases, Palam Vihar, Sushant Lok, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road, New Gurgaon and Manesar, but each address is assessed. Basement height, ramp access, security rules and timing restrictions decide whether collection happens at your parking level or at a ground-level or gate release point. Share your society name and basement level when you enquire.
Is my bike insured while it is being moved?
Cover is not automatic or uniform. It depends on the cover option you choose, the declared value and the terms of whoever provides it. Ask for the cover details along with the quote, read what is included and excluded, and keep that document with your booking reference. If the cost of cover or applicable taxes is not shown on the quote, ask for it to be added.
Can I visit your office or drop my bike at a yard in Gurgaon?
Please call or email first. We do not list a walk-in address on this page, and a visit or drop-off at any collection point or yard needs a location and time confirmed to you directly. This avoids a wasted trip and makes sure someone is there to record the bike's condition when you hand it over.
