Bike Transport Gurgaon to Bangalore: Charges, Route and Delivery
Moving a two-wheeler from Gurgaon (Gurugram) to Bangalore (Bengaluru) is a long interstate job of roughly 2,100–2,250 km. The price is only one part of it. You also have to get the bike out of a Gurgaon basement or office parking, have someone ready to receive it at the right Bangalore gate, and avoid a week without transport after you land.
BikeShift Gurgaon arranges collection, packing, road transport and delivery for single bikes and scooters on assessed bookings for this route. Commuter bikes, Royal Enfields, premium motorcycles, heavy tourers and electric scooters are all covered. This page explains what a fair quote should contain, how the timeline really works, and how to prepare both ends of the move.

Quick Answer: Gurgaon to Bangalore Bike Transport at a Glance
- Planning price range: about ₹4,500–₹5,800 for a scooter or light EV, up to ₹11,000–₹19,500 for a large or superbike. These are planning ranges for assessed jobs, not fixed all-inclusive tariffs.
- Distance: plan for roughly 2,100–2,250 km. The actual pickup and delivery addresses and the carrier's permitted routing decide the figure.
- Transit estimate: around 4–6 working days after the carrier confirms dispatch. Collection, consolidation and your final delivery appointment are separate and need their own dates.
- Usual mode: road transport, with a local collection van in Gurgaon, a line-haul carrier and local delivery in Bangalore.
- For carriage, keep ready: RC, current insurance, owner ID, an authorisation letter if someone else hands over or receives the bike, and PUC where applicable.
- Before booking, decide: who hands over in Gurgaon, who receives in Bangalore, and whether the delivery address will be ready on the expected arrival date.
Gurgaon to Bangalore Bike Transport Charges by Assessed Category
These ranges are what we use to plan assessed jobs on this route. Your exact model, its dimensions and weight, any fitted accessories, its condition, and whether the carrier accepts it all matter more than engine capacity alone. CC bands are only a rough guide.
| Category | Typical examples | Planning range | What usually shifts the quote |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scooter / light EV | Activa, Jupiter, Access, Ntorq; light electric scooters subject to model acceptance | ₹4,500–₹5,800 | Floorboard accessories, battery acceptance for EVs, delivery address |
| Commuter, roughly 100–160cc class | Splendor, Shine, Pulsar 125/150, Unicorn, FZ | ₹5,000–₹6,200 | Crash guards, carriers, pickup access |
| Performance / naked, roughly 160–300cc class | Apache RTR 200, Pulsar NS200, MT-15, Gixxer 250 | ₹6,000–₹7,500 | Exposed radiator, lever and mirror protection, condition |
| Cruiser, roughly 350–650cc class | Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter, Meteor, Interceptor 650 | ₹6,500–₹8,500 | Weight, chrome and engine guards, saddle stays, loading help |
| Sports / premium, roughly 300–650cc class | Duke 390, RC 390, Ninja 300/400, G 310 R/GS, Dominar 400 | ₹7,500–₹9,800 | Fairings, clip-ons, declared value, packing time |
| Large / superbike, roughly 650cc+ | Large adventure tourers, big twins, litre-class machines | ₹11,000–₹19,500 | Weight, width with panniers, special handling, exclusive vehicle request |
What a Proper Quote Should List, Line by Line
Two quotes with the same headline figure can cover very different work. Ask for each item below to be shown as included, excluded or separately priced. Do not assume any of them are bundled.
- Line-haul freight: the main Gurgaon-to-Bangalore carriage on a shared or exclusive vehicle.
- Gurgaon pickup: collection from your home, office or an agreed point to the loading location.
- Packing: the materials and labour for your model, including any extra protection for fairings, chrome or accessories.
- Loading and unloading: at collection, at any transfer point and at delivery.
- Final-door delivery in Bangalore: to your actual address, not just a city drop point. Outlying addresses may be assessed separately.
- Applicable tax: whether it is included in the line items or added on top, and at what amount on the written quote. Never assume one rate.
- Chosen cover: whether transit cover is offered, who issues it, the declared value it is based on, and what it excludes.
- Special handling: heavy or wide bikes, non-running vehicles, EV-specific requirements, or a request for an exclusive vehicle.
- Re-attempts or holding: what happens, and whether there is any charge, if nobody is available to receive the bike.
Worked Planning Example (Hypothetical, Not a Customer Job)
This example shows how to read a quote. It is not an invoice, a past booking or a fixed price. Suppose you are moving a Royal Enfield Classic 350 from a home basement in Sector 57, Gurgaon, to a society in HSR Layout, Bangalore, on a shared enclosed carrier, with cover requested.
| Line item | Hypothetical amount | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Line-haul freight (shared carrier) | ₹5,400 | Main interstate carriage |
| Doorstep collection in Sector 57 | ₹600 | Van from basement to loading point |
| Cruiser packing | ₹700 | Tank, chrome, lever and mirror protection |
| Loading and unloading at transfer | ₹300 | Van to main carrier, carrier to delivery vehicle |
| Final doorstep delivery, HSR Layout | ₹500 | Delivery to the society gate or parking |
| Transport subtotal | ₹7,500 | 5,400 + 600 + 700 + 300 + 500. Within the cruiser planning range. |
| Optional transit cover premium, as quoted for the declared value | ₹450 | A hypothetical premium figure, not a percentage rule |
| Planning total before any separately stated tax | ₹7,950 | 7,500 + 450 |
| Applicable tax | As written on the quote | Confirm whether it is already in the lines above or added on top |
If this owner skipped doorstep collection and handed the bike over at an agreed nearby point, the ₹600 line would drop out. The transport subtotal would then be ₹6,900 and the total before tax ₹7,350. Whether that is worth it depends on how far the point is and how much time you have. Doorstep collection is often the safer choice for a heavy bike you would otherwise ride through peak-hour traffic during a move.
Route Distance and a Realistic Timeline
Why We Quote a Distance Range, Not One Fixed Number
Passenger driving options between Gurugram and Bengaluru vary by more than 100 km depending on the corridor. The common suggestions use Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh connectors before joining the southern highways into Bengaluru. Those are routes for cars, not a goods-vehicle itinerary. A carrier's actual route depends on:
- its permitted roads and loading points;
- the other consignments on the vehicle;
- where your exact pickup and delivery addresses sit in each city.
For planning, use roughly 2,100–2,250 km. Be wary of any page that names a single fixed route as though every bike always travels it.
The passenger-driving time shown by a map is different from the freight delivery window. A bike on a carrier waits for loading, travels with other cargo, may change vehicles and then needs a local delivery slot.
For example, an October 2026 map check showed a 2,106 km driving option labelled NH52, using NE4 and Lalsot–Kota connections, the Ujjain–Garoth/NH752D approach and NH52, NH50 and NH48 links into Bengaluru. Other displayed options were about 2,103 km via NE4 and 2,233 km via NH50. This is a road-planning reference; confirm the actual permitted carrier corridor, loading points and any transfers for your booking.
The Three Clocks: Collection, Line-Haul and Delivery Appointment
| Stage | What happens | What decides the timing |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Collection and consolidation | The bike is inspected, packed and moved from your address to the loading point, then waits for the line-haul vehicle | Your pickup slot, gate permission, and when space on a suitable carrier is confirmed |
| 2. Line-haul transit | Interstate carriage to Bangalore, possibly with transfer stages | Planning estimate of about 4–6 working days after confirmed dispatch. Weather, holidays, checks and routing can change it. |
| 3. Final delivery appointment | Local delivery from arrival to your Bangalore address and handover | Receiver availability, society entry, the address corridor and the delivery vehicle's schedule |
The 4–6 working day figure is an estimate, not a record of completed trips or a guaranteed schedule. It starts when dispatch is confirmed, not when you make the booking or when the bike leaves your basement.
Dates to Confirm Before You Book
- The pickup date and time window in Gurgaon, and who will be present.
- The expected dispatch date, and how you will be told when the carrier actually leaves.
- The expected arrival window in Bangalore, as a range rather than a promise.
- The earliest date your Bangalore address can accept the bike, which may depend on the flat, PG or society.
- Your own travel date and office joining date, so you can see the gap you need to cover.
- What happens if the bike arrives before you are ready to receive it.
Gurgaon Pickup: Match the Endpoint to the Right Handover
"Gurgaon" covers very different kinds of pickup. A sector name alone is not enough for a smooth collection. These are the situations that change how the handover works.
Office Parking in Cyber City or Udyog Vihar
If your bike is parked at work, you may need release permission that a home pickup never needs. Many commercial buildings control vehicle exit, visitor vehicles and loading bays separately. Before the pickup date:
- ask your facility or security team how a vehicle can be handed to an outside transporter;
- confirm whether a van can stop near the exit or whether the bike must be rolled out to an agreed point;
- check whether you need an email, gate pass or escort.
If you are serving notice, do this well before your last working day, when access may become harder.
Golf Course Road, Golf Course Extension and Sohna Road High-Rises
Do not assume a standard basement height or that a van can drive in. What matters is the actual path from your parking slot to the point where the bike can be loaded:
- the basement level;
- ramp slope and turns;
- whether commercial vehicles may enter;
- where a van is allowed to stop.
Some societies let a van come to a drop-off point. Others need the bike rolled up the ramp to the gate. Tell us the level and the route, and share a short video of the ramp if you can. Register the visitor or vehicle entry with your security desk in advance.
Older Sectors 14/15, DLF Phases, Sushant Lok and Palam Vihar
Independent houses and builder floors usually avoid basement issues but bring their own: narrow lanes, parked cars and no obvious place for a van to stop. Identify a stopping point where the van can wait for twenty or thirty minutes while the bike is inspected and packed. Tell us whether the bike is kept in a gated porch or on a stilt floor, and whether a gate is locked at certain hours.
New Gurgaon, Dwarka Expressway and IMT Manesar
Sectors along the Dwarka Expressway, New Gurgaon sectors in the 80s and 90s, and IMT Manesar are separate pickup endpoints with different distances and access. Treat them as distinct points, not interchangeable names for "Gurgaon". Give the exact sector, society or plot and pin code.
Collection from these areas may be scheduled differently from central sectors, so confirm the slot rather than assuming the same timing.
Doorstep Bike Delivery in Bangalore: Corridor by Corridor
Bangalore delivery fails most often at the last few hundred metres: the wrong gate, a receiver who is not there, or a society that will not admit a delivery vehicle without notice. Use the guide below to give a delivery address the team can actually reach. Society rules vary, so always check your own.
Whitefield, ITPL, Hoodi and Kadugodi
This is a large spread-out area, not a single destination. Large layouts and tech-park campuses can have several entrances with different rules.
- Give the exact building, the gate number or name, and a landmark.
- Name the receiver and how security will recognise them.
- If you live near Hoodi or Kadugodi but work at ITPL, decide which of the two is the delivery point.
Electronic City Phase 1 and Phase 2
Phase 1 and Phase 2 are distinct areas, and nearby residential pockets are different again. Name the phase, the road and the building. Office campuses here often have strict vehicle entry, so home delivery is usually simpler unless your employer confirms a receiving process.
HSR Layout Sectors and Koramangala Blocks
Give the HSR sector or Koramangala block, the main and cross road, and the house or society name. In independent-house streets, mention where a vehicle can stop. Many addresses are on narrow cross roads.
Bellandur, Marathahalli and Sarjapur Road Corridors
These corridors have many large gated societies along busy roads. Delivery vehicles may need to wait at the main gate while the receiver comes down. Confirm:
- whether your society needs pre-registration of the vehicle;
- whether deliveries are restricted to certain hours;
- whether the bike can be wheeled to your parking slot.
Hebbal, Yelahanka and Manyata Tech Park
North Bangalore addresses range from tech-park offices to residential layouts and newer developments further out. Give the full address and pin code. If you are joining at Manyata but living elsewhere, deliver to the residence where the bike will actually be parked.
Outlying Endpoints: Devanahalli, Bidadi and Beyond
Addresses on the city's outer edges, such as Devanahalli to the north or Bidadi to the south-west, are assessed separately. Distance, the delivery vehicle's schedule and access can change the delivery line on the quote. Mention them at enquiry stage, not on arrival.
Delivery Address vs Office Address
Many people moving for work give their office address because it is the only one they know before they arrive. That can backfire: the receiver may not have access, office security may refuse the bike, or there may be nowhere to leave it. Wherever possible, give the address where the bike will be parked, along with a receiver who can take it. If that address is not ready, read the next section before you book.
Two-Address Handover Worksheet
Fill this in before you ask for a final quote and share it with us. It removes most of the surprises on pickup and delivery day.
| Item | Gurgaon pickup | Bangalore delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Complete address | Flat or house, tower, society or building, sector, pin code | Flat or house, society, block or sector, road, area, pin code |
| Gate and landmark | Which gate allows vehicles, and a landmark | Which gate receives deliveries, and a landmark |
| Parking level and rolling path | Basement level, ramp, any steps or narrow turns | Where the bike will be parked and how to get it there |
| Loading restrictions | Van entry allowed or not, permitted hours, stopping point | Delivery vehicle entry, permitted hours, pre-registration |
| Authorised person | Name and phone of the person handing over, plus a signed authorisation if not the owner | Name and phone of the receiver, plus a signed authorisation if not the owner |
| Keys | Number of keys handed over; spare key kept by you | Who collects the key at delivery |
| Condition photographs | Photos and a walkaround video before packing, shared with us | Photos and video at unpacking, before signing |
| Odometer | Reading recorded on the handover document | Reading checked against the pickup record |
| Dates | Pickup date and window | Earliest date the address can receive, and dates the receiver is unavailable |
| Update contact | The phone or WhatsApp number for dispatch updates | The number the delivery team should call before arriving |
When Your Home Keys and Your Bike Arrive on Different Days
A common problem on this route is that the bike reaches Bangalore before the flat is handed over, before the PG room is ready, or while you are still serving notice in Gurgaon. Carrier arrival and your own readiness are two separate dates. Plan for the gap before dispatch, not after the bike arrives.
- Authorise a receiver: a friend, relative, colleague or future flatmate who can sign, check the odometer and inspect the bike. Give them a signed authorisation and a copy of your ID if the carrier requires it, and make sure they have the pickup photos to compare against.
- Agree a holding or redelivery arrangement in writing: if nobody can receive the bike, ask before dispatch whether holding or a later delivery attempt is available, and on what terms. Do not assume either is free or automatic.
- Delay the pickup instead: if your Bangalore address will only be ready later, it is often simpler to collect the bike later in Gurgaon, as long as you can still arrange the handover there.
Planning Your First Commute in Bangalore
If you join work before the bike arrives, plan the gap rather than hoping the dates line up.
- Check how you will reach the office for the first few days: public transport, a cab, a shared ride or a short-term rental.
- Keep your helmet, riding gloves and any documents you need for riding with your personal luggage, not with the bike.
- After delivery, check the tyre pressure, chain, brakes and battery before your first long ride, especially if the bike sat for several days.
- For an EV, find out where you can charge at your new address before the scooter arrives.
How the Bike Actually Moves: Collection Van, Line-Haul Carrier and Transfers
Shared Line-Haul vs an Exclusive Vehicle
Most single-bike moves on this route travel on a shared line-haul vehicle carrying other consignments. This is usually the most economical option. Dispatch depends on when a suitable vehicle has space for your bike.
An exclusive vehicle carries only your consignment. It can make sense for a very high-value bike, several bikes together, or a fixed timing need, but it costs much more for a 2,100-plus km route. Ask for the price difference in writing before choosing.
The Collection Van Is Not the Main Carrier
The vehicle that collects your bike from a Gurgaon basement is usually a smaller local van. It moves the bike to the point where the line-haul carrier is loaded. At the Bangalore end, a local vehicle may again do the final delivery. The packing has to survive every one of these stages, not just the highway leg.
Transfer Stages
Depending on the carrier arrangement, a bike may be loaded, unloaded and reloaded more than once. Each handling stage is a moment of risk. Ask:
- how many transfer stages to expect;
- whether the bike stays packed throughout;
- whether the condition record carries over between stages.
What Enclosed Transport Does and Does Not Do
Enclosed transport reduces exposure to rain, dust and road grit, and it helps keep the bike out of sight. It cannot guarantee that no damage will happen. Bikes can still shift if they are poorly secured, and loading or transfers can still cause scratches or bent parts. Good packing, correct tie-down and careful handling are what reduce risk, together with clear condition records.
Bike Shifting Services Covered in a Full Scope
A complete Gurgaon–Bangalore bike shifting scope, once assessed and accepted, can include:
- Assessment: confirming the model, condition, accessories, both addresses and access before quoting.
- Doorstep collection: from home, office or an agreed point in Gurgaon, Gurugram's new sectors or IMT Manesar.
- Condition record: photos, notes on existing marks and the odometer reading, agreed with you at pickup.
- Model-aware packing: protecting paint, levers, mirrors, fairings, chrome and accessories according to the bike.
- Loading and securing: on the collection van and the line-haul vehicle.
- Road transport: on a shared or, by request and quote, an exclusive vehicle.
- Dispatch and arrival updates: to the contact you nominate.
- Doorstep delivery in Bangalore: to the address and receiver you have confirmed, including assessed outlying endpoints.
- Unpacking and handover: with a condition and odometer check before signing.
- Cover: where offered and chosen, based on the declared value, with the issued paperwork.
Every item above is confirmed on the written quote for your job. Anything not listed there should not be assumed.
Model-Aware Packing and Loading
Packing the same way for every bike wastes material on some and under-protects others. These are the main differences by category.
Scooters and Light EVs (Scooty Parcel from Gurugram to Bengaluru)
Scooters have large painted panels and plastic body parts that scuff easily, plus floorboards and under-seat storage.
- Remove phone holders, loose floor mats and anything stored under the seat.
- Protect the front apron, side panels and mirrors.
- Do not overtighten straps across plastic body panels.
For a scooty parcel from Gurugram to Bengaluru, the packing is usually quicker than for a motorcycle. Panel protection still matters, though, because replacement body parts can be inconvenient to source.
Commuter Bikes
Protect the tank, side covers, headlamp and indicators, and pad the levers and mirror stems. If the bike has a carrier, crash guard or saree guard, note it in the condition record so it is protected and not mistaken for later damage.
Performance, Naked and Sports Bikes with Fairings
Fairings, exposed radiators, clip-on handlebars and long levers are easy to crack or bend.
- Tie-down points must avoid fairing panels.
- Edges need cushioning.
- Mirrors may be folded or removed according to the model.
Tell us about aftermarket parts such as tail tidies, bar-end mirrors or levers. They change both the packing and the record.
Royal Enfield Transport and Other Cruisers
Royal Enfield and similar cruisers are heavy and have chrome, wide handlebars and often crash guards or saddle stays. Royal Enfield transport usually needs:
- careful loading help because of the weight;
- non-abrasive protection on chrome and the tank;
- attention to saddle stays and footpegs.
Remove soft luggage and phone mounts. Leave fitted guards on unless we agree otherwise. Mention a touring windscreen or top box when you enquire.
Large Bikes and Superbikes
Large bikes are heavier and wider, sometimes with panniers, and often carry a high declared value. They may need extra handling help, more space or a dedicated arrangement.
- Share the exact model, weight and width with any luggage.
- Agree whether panniers travel on or off the bike.
- Discuss cover and declared value before booking, not at handover.
Electric Scooter Transport: Model Instructions First
Whether an electric two-wheeler is accepted, and how it is prepared, depends on the exact model's manufacturer instructions and on the carrier's rules. There is no single correct charge level, switch or battery rule for every EV.
- Share the exact make, model and variant when you enquire.
- Check the owner's manual or ask the manufacturer's service network how the scooter should be prepared for transport.
- Tell us about any battery warnings, error messages, swelling, overheating, past water exposure or accident history. Some conditions may mean the scooter cannot be accepted until it has been checked.
- Do not open, drain or tamper with the battery pack yourself.
- Pack the charger separately and keep it with you if possible.
Fuel: Follow the Accepted Procedure
For petrol bikes, the fuel level for road carriage follows the accepted carrier's instructions for your model. We will tell you what is needed when we confirm your booking. If fuel has to be reduced, do it through a safe, authorised procedure such as riding it down or having a service workshop handle it. Do not siphon petrol, vent the tank, or carry petrol in bottles. Rail carriage has its own stricter rule, covered below.
The Booking Process, Step by Step
- Enquiry: share your pickup sector or address, Bangalore delivery area, exact model, condition, accessories and preferred dates through the quote form, a call or WhatsApp.
- Assessment and written quote: we confirm access at both ends and send a quote listing what is included, excluded or separately priced.
- Accept the terms: read the payment, cancellation and refund terms that apply to your booking. See our terms and conditions.
- Prepare both ends: complete the worksheet, register gate entry, prepare documents and follow the fuel or EV instructions you received.
- Pickup and condition record: the bike is inspected, photographed and its odometer recorded. Check the record before signing it.
- Packing and loading: protection suited to the model, then securing on the collection van.
- Dispatch: once the line-haul carrier is confirmed, you receive the dispatch update. The transit estimate starts here.
- Arrival and delivery appointment: the delivery team contacts the nominated receiver to agree a slot.
- Unpacking and inspection: the receiver checks the bike and odometer against the pickup record before signing, and notes any visible issue on the delivery document.
- After delivery: check the bike again in daylight and report anything you find promptly with photos.
Road Carrier vs Bike Parcel by Train vs Accompanied Luggage
Rail is a legitimate option and suits some people. The fair comparison is the whole door-to-door job, not one fare against one quote.
| Factor | Road carrier, door to door | Railway parcel | Accompanied luggage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who travels | Only the bike | Only the bike | You and the bike, on the same train |
| Gurgaon side work | Handover at your address | Take the bike to a station parcel office, book it, have it packed, complete the formalities | The same station work, timed to your own train |
| Bangalore side work | Delivery at your address | Travel to the arrival station, collect, unpack, then get the bike home | Collect at the arrival station after your journey |
| Fuel | As per the accepted carrier's instruction | Official rail guidance requires an empty petrol tank | Official rail guidance requires an empty petrol tank |
| Packing | Arranged as part of the quoted scope | Arranged by you at or near the station | Arranged by you at or near the station |
| Acceptance | Confirmed with the quote | Check current acceptance at the specific station and on the train | Check current acceptance at the specific station and on the train |
| Cost to compare | The itemised quote | Rail charge plus packing, travel to both stations, your time and the local legs | The same, plus your own ticket |
On the Delhi NCR side, parcel work usually means a trip to a major station, not one in your sector. At the Bangalore end, terminals such as KSR Bengaluru or Yesvantpur may be some distance from where you will live. Station acceptance, booking rules and charges change, so check them directly with the railway for your own date. We do not quote rail fares or train timings.
Rail can work well if you live close to a station at both ends, are comfortable doing the formalities and want to control the timing yourself. Road door-to-door usually suits people who cannot spare time at stations, have a heavy or premium bike, or need pickup from a basement or office.
Documents, Registration and Karnataka Questions
Documents for Carrying the Bike
- Registration certificate (RC): a copy for the consignment, as the carrier requires.
- Current insurance: a copy of the valid policy.
- Owner ID: a copy of a government photo ID.
- Authorisation: a signed letter if someone other than the owner is handing over or receiving the bike, or if the bike is registered to a relative or company.
- PUC: where applicable for your vehicle.
- Financier details: if the bike is under a loan, tell us. Your lender may have its own conditions about moving the vehicle.
Keep the originals and any documents you will need for riding with you, not with the bike. You will need them on the road in Bangalore.
Registration, NOC and Tax Are Separate Questions
Carrying a bike to Bangalore is one question. Riding and keeping it there is a different set of questions, and people often mix them up.
- Registration reassignment: under the Motor Vehicles Act, a vehicle kept in another state for more than twelve months generally needs to be assigned a new registration mark there. Parivahan's guidance treats this reassignment, applied for in Form 27, as a separate process from transporting the vehicle.
- NOC: whether you need a No Objection Certificate from the Haryana authority depends on your situation, such as reassignment, a loan or a transfer. It is not automatically required or automatically unnecessary.
- Ownership transfer: if you are selling the bike to someone in Bangalore, or receiving it from a seller, ownership transfer is a separate legal step.
- Financier clearance: a hypothecated bike may need the lender's clearance before reassignment.
- Karnataka tax and road use: Karnataka has its own rules on road tax for vehicles registered in other states. These are not simply a twelve-month tax-free window. Check with the Karnataka transport authority for your own circumstances, including how long you plan to stay, before relying on any assumption.
We arrange carriage. We cannot advise on your registration or tax position, and you should not treat any carrier's general statement as official guidance.
Handover, Condition Records and Damage Claims
At Pickup
Before packing, walk around the bike with the team. Agree on existing scratches, dents, cracked parts and missing items, and make sure they are noted. Confirm that the odometer reading is recorded correctly. Take your own photos and a short video in good light. Keep a copy of the signed record.
At Delivery
The receiver should unpack, or watch the unpacking, and inspect the bike before signing. Check:
- paint, panels, levers, mirrors and indicators;
- wheels, accessories and keys;
- the odometer against the pickup record.
If something is wrong, write it on the delivery document and photograph it before the team leaves. Do not sign "received in good condition" if it is not.
Damage Found Later
Some issues only appear later, such as a bent lever noticed in daylight or a crack under the packing. Report them as soon as you find them, with photos and your pickup and delivery records. Prompt reporting matters. How a later report is handled depends on the cover and terms that applied to your booking, so read those before you ship.
Transit Cover
Cover depends on the actual policy issued, which stages it covers, the declared value and the exclusions. Before booking, ask:
- who issues the cover;
- what it covers and what it excludes;
- what value it is based on;
- what evidence a claim needs.
Make sure you receive the issued paperwork. A claim is assessed against that paperwork and is not guaranteed. Declaring a realistic value helps, but it does not guarantee a payout.
How to Choose a Gurgaon–Bangalore Bike Transporter
Whoever you book with, including us, use these criteria:
- Itemised written quote: freight, pickup, packing, loading, delivery, tax and cover listed separately, not just a headline number.
- Honest timeline: a dispatch-based estimate with collection and delivery explained, not a guaranteed day count from booking.
- Questions about your access: a good transporter asks about your basement, gate, office parking and Bangalore receiver. A transporter that does not ask may surprise you on the day.
- Model-specific packing: different handling for a fairing, a Royal Enfield or an EV.
- Clear condition records: a signed pickup record with photos and the odometer reading.
- Cover explained plainly: no vague phrases like "fully insured"; you get the actual terms and paperwork.
- Clear payment and cancellation terms: written before you pay anything.
- Verifiable claims: treat unverifiable reviews, ratings and fleet claims with caution, and ask for documents if a claim matters to you.
You can read more about how we work on our about page, and how we handle your enquiry details in our privacy policy.
Common Mistakes and Honest Ways to Save
Mistakes That Cost Time or Money
- Comparing a quote that includes doorstep delivery with one that only delivers to a city point.
- Giving an office address in Bangalore without checking that the bike can be received there.
- Forgetting that office parking in Gurgaon needs exit permission.
- Booking the pickup for the same day as packing up the house, when nobody has time to check the condition record.
- Leaving accessories, a top box or valuables on the bike without telling anyone.
- Assuming an EV will be accepted without sharing the exact model and its battery condition.
- Treating "transit time" as starting from the booking date.
- Signing the delivery note before inspecting the bike.
- Assuming the bike can be ridden in Karnataka indefinitely, or that tax rules match those of another state.
Ways to Save Without Cutting Corners
- Book early: flexible dates make it easier to place your bike on a shared vehicle.
- Be flexible on dispatch: a shared line-haul is usually far cheaper than an exclusive vehicle.
- Consider an agreed handover point: if your bike is easy to ride and the point is close, as in the worked example above.
- Remove accessories: fewer parts to protect, and nothing to lose.
- Give accurate details at the start: correct model, accessories and address prevent re-quotes on the day.
- Have the receiver ready: this avoids failed delivery attempts and any re-attempt or holding cost.
Company relocation: sort out the claim papers before booking
If your employer will reimburse the Gurgaon to Bangalore move, ask HR about the vehicle allowance, approved-vendor requirements and claim deadline before paying an advance. Confirm whether the invoice should name you or the company, and which billing details they require.
- Ask for transport, packing, local collection/delivery, applicable tax and any selected cover to be identifiable on the quote and invoice.
- Keep the consignment note, pickup condition record, payment receipts and delivery acknowledgement together.
- If your household goods are booked separately, check whether HR wants separate invoices or a combined relocation claim.
Share the required invoice format at enquiry stage. Reimbursement approval remains your employer's decision; a transport booking does not confirm eligibility under its policy.

The exact model, accessories, condition, addresses and acceptance decide your written quote.
Are pickup, packing and doorstep delivery included in the price?
Never assume they are. A proper quote lists line-haul freight, Gurgaon pickup, packing, loading, final doorstep delivery in Bangalore, applicable tax, any chosen cover and any special handling, and says whether each is included, excluded or priced separately. Compare quotes on the same scope, not on the headline figure.
How many days does it take to send a bike from Gurgaon to Bangalore?
As a planning estimate, allow around 4 to 6 working days after the carrier confirms dispatch. Collection and consolidation before dispatch, and the final delivery appointment after arrival, are separate stages. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed schedule, so confirm the pickup date, dispatch update and delivery window when booking.
What is the distance from Gurgaon to Bangalore for bike transport?
Plan for roughly 2,100 to 2,250 km. Passenger driving routes vary by corridor, and the carrier's permitted routing and your exact pickup and delivery addresses change the actual figure. Driving time for a car does not translate into freight delivery time.
Can you collect my bike from office parking in Cyber City or Udyog Vihar?
Often yes, but office buildings usually need their own release permission, separate from a home pickup. Ask your facility or security team how a vehicle can be handed to an outside transporter, where a van can stop and whether a gate pass or email is needed, and arrange it before your last working day.
Can the pickup van enter my society basement in Gurgaon?
It depends on your society. There is no standard basement height or automatic van entry. Tell us the parking level, ramp and turns, whether commercial vehicles can enter and where a van may stop. In some places the bike is rolled up to the gate for loading. Register the visitor entry with security in advance.
What happens if I am not in Bangalore when the bike arrives?
Plan this before dispatch. Authorise a receiver with a signed letter who can inspect the bike, check the odometer and sign, or ask in writing whether any holding or later delivery arrangement is available and on what terms. Alternatively, schedule a later pickup in Gurgaon so the bike arrives when your address is ready.
How is a Royal Enfield or other heavy motorcycle handled?
Heavy cruisers need careful loading help and protection suited to their chrome, tank, handlebars, crash guards and saddle stays. Remove soft luggage and mounts, and mention fitted accessories such as windscreens or top boxes when you enquire. For large bikes and superbikes, share the exact model, weight and width so space and handling can be assessed.
Can you transport an electric scooter from Gurgaon to Bangalore?
Many electric scooters can be moved, but acceptance and preparation depend on the exact model's manufacturer instructions and the carrier's rules. Share the make and variant, and disclose any battery warning, swelling, overheating, water exposure or accident history. Do not open or tamper with the battery yourself, and keep the charger with you if possible.
How much petrol should be left in the tank?
For road carriage, follow the fuel instruction given for your model when the booking is confirmed. If fuel needs to be reduced, do it safely, for example by riding it down or using a service workshop. Do not siphon, vent or carry petrol in bottles. For railway parcel or luggage, official guidance requires an empty petrol tank.
Is sending a bike parcel by train cheaper than road transport?
The rail charge itself can look lower, but compare the whole job: taking the bike to the station, packing, formalities, an empty petrol tank, collection at the Bangalore station and both local legs, plus your time. Station acceptance and charges change, so check them directly. Rail suits people near stations at both ends who can handle the formalities.
What documents are needed to transport my bike?
Keep copies of the RC, current insurance and owner ID ready, plus PUC where applicable and a signed authorisation if someone else hands over or receives the bike. Tell us if the bike is under a loan. Keep originals and anything you need for riding with you, not with the bike.
Do I need an NOC to ride my Haryana-registered bike in Bangalore?
It depends on your situation. Registration reassignment for a vehicle kept in another state beyond twelve months, an NOC, ownership transfer, financier clearance and Karnataka road tax are separate questions. Do not assume a tax-free or NOC-free period. Check with the Karnataka transport authority and your Haryana registering authority for your own circumstances.
Is my bike insured during transit from Gurgaon to Bangalore?
Only if cover is offered, chosen and issued for your booking. Ask who issues it, which stages it covers, the declared value and the exclusions, and keep the issued paperwork. A claim is assessed against those terms and is not guaranteed.
What should I do if I find damage at delivery or later?
At delivery, inspect the bike and odometer before signing, note any issue on the delivery document and photograph it before the team leaves. If you find something later, report it promptly with photos and your pickup and delivery records. How it is handled depends on the cover and terms that applied to your booking.
How do payment and cancellation work?
Payment, cancellation and refunds follow the written terms you accept for your booking. Read them before paying anything and ask about anything unclear. Our general terms and conditions are published on this website.
