Bike Transport from Gurgaon to Indore
Moving to Indore and sending your bike or scooty separately? The short answer first. By road, Indore is roughly 780–870 km from Gurgaon, depending on where in Gurugram the bike starts, where it finally goes in Indore and which route the carrying vehicle takes. Once the bike has actually been dispatched, plan on about 3–5 working days for it to reach Indore. Planning prices for one bike run from about ₹3,200 for a scooter to ₹10,500 for a large or premium motorcycle.
"Indore" on its own is not enough for a good quote. A tower in Nipania, a township on the Super Corridor, an old house near Rajwada, a PG near Bhawarkuan, a plant gate in Pithampur and a hostel on the IIT campus at Simrol are all very different deliveries. Tell us the exact place where a real person will receive the bike. That one detail decides the delivery leg, the appointment and sometimes the price.

Gurgaon to Indore at a glance
| Item | What to plan for |
|---|---|
| Road distance | About 780–870 km. Mapped routes differ by close to 90 km depending on whether the vehicle goes through the Jaipur–Ajmer side or the Kota side, and on your exact pickup and delivery points. |
| Transit planning | About 3–5 working days after confirmed dispatch. Collection in Gurgaon happens before this, and the final handover in Indore is fixed by appointment. |
| Planning price | About ₹3,200–₹10,500 for one assessed bike, mainly depending on its type, size, value and condition. |
| Delivery areas | Indore city localities are assessed address by address. Pithampur, Mhow, Simrol, Sanwer, Dewas and Ujjain are treated as their own endpoints, not part of one city rate. |
| What the quote confirms | Collection and delivery points, packing, loading, carriage, unloading, any local legs, applicable tax, the cover you choose and any special handling. |
Who usually sends a bike from Gurgaon to Indore
Knowing why the bike is going helps us ask the right questions. On this route, most enquiries fall into four groups, and each one has a different weak point.
- IT and corporate moves. People joining offices around Vijay Nagar, Crystal IT Park, Scheme 78 or the Super Corridor. The bike usually goes to a rented flat in a gated society, so the society's entry rules matter more than the office address.
- Plant and factory jobs. Engineers and managers posted to Pithampur, Sanwer Road or other industrial belts. Many give the plant address by habit, but plant security often does not receive personal vehicles. A residence is usually the better delivery point.
- Students. Indore has a large student population: IIM Indore on the Rau side, IIT Indore at Simrol, university campuses, and the coaching belt around Bhawarkuan. Students mostly send a scooty or a commuter bike, often to a PG or hostel where parking permission is not yet confirmed.
- Families going home. Someone from Indore working in Gurgaon sends the bike back to parents, or a family relocates permanently. Here the receiver is often a parent, so they should have the booking details and the pickup photos before the bike arrives.
If you fit one of these, the sections below on Indore localities and the move-sequence worksheet will save you the most trouble.
Gurgaon to Indore bike transport charges
These are planning ranges for one assessed bike, split by type so you can see where your model is likely to sit. They are not a fixed tariff. Two bikes in the same row can be priced differently once the exact model, its condition and both addresses are known.
| Bike type | Typical examples | Planning range (one bike) | What usually moves the price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scooter / scooty | Activa, Jupiter, Access, Dio, Fascino, Ntorq | ₹3,200–₹4,400 | Top box, windscreen, leg guard, cracked panels that need extra care |
| Commuter motorcycle | Splendor, HF Deluxe, Shine, Platina, Pulsar 125/150 | ₹3,600–₹4,800 | Crash guard, carrier, saree guard, flat or worn tyres |
| Street or performance | Apache RTR 160/200, FZ, Pulsar NS/N, MT-15, R15, Duke 200 | ₹4,300–₹5,700 | Fairings, wide bars, aftermarket exhaust or lights, higher value |
| Cruiser or tourer | Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Bullet, Himalayan, Avenger | ₹4,800–₹6,400 | Weight, width, panniers, crash bars, touring screens |
| Accepted electric two-wheeler | Electric scooters and motorcycles, only after the exact model is accepted | ₹4,000–₹5,200 | Model acceptance, battery condition, charger, handling instructions |
| Large or premium | 650cc twins, Duke 390 and bigger, large adventure bikes, imported motorcycles | ₹6,800–₹10,500 | Weight, value, full fairings, crate or dedicated slot, declared value for cover |
Delivery to Pithampur, Mhow, Simrol, Sanwer, Dewas, Ujjain or any point outside Indore city is assessed on its own and is not covered by the Indore figure. The same applies to a hard-to-reach address inside the city, such as a narrow lane in the old market area.
What your quote should spell out
Before you agree to any price, from us or anyone else, check that it says clearly:
- the collection point in Gurgaon (your parking, society gate or a handover point);
- the delivery point in Indore (door, society gate or a confirmed handover point in the city);
- what packing is used and which parts get extra protection;
- loading at pickup and unloading at delivery;
- any local leg in Indore that is charged separately;
- GST, and whether it is included or added on top;
- transit cover, if you choose it, with the declared value and premium;
- any special handling for a non-running bike, an EV or a heavy motorcycle.
How our ranges compare with published Delhi NCR to Indore prices
We went through the Gurgaon and Delhi to Indore price lists that transport companies and marketplaces had published in 2026. The spread is wide, mostly because each list includes different things.
| How the list is presented | Range seen | What to watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Engine-size bands, transport only | Roughly ₹4,500–₹7,700 from 100cc up to 350cc and above | Packing, doorstep legs and GST may not be part of the figure |
| Packing shown as a separate column | Packing from under ₹1,000 to several thousand, on top of a carriage figure of ₹5,000 or more | Add both columns before comparing with an all-in quote |
| Broad "starting from" figures | About ₹4,000–₹11,000, with sports and cruiser bikes quoted well above that | A wide range tells you little until the model and both addresses are fixed |
Treat these as a sanity check, not as anyone's tariff, ours included. If a quote is far below them, ask what has been left out. If it is far above, ask what the extra pays for.
Distance, route and realistic timing
Mapped driving routes between Gurgaon and Indore come out anywhere from about 780 km to about 870 km. One common way goes down NH-48 through Jaipur and Kishangarh and then into Madhya Pradesh towards Ujjain and Indore. Another goes through the Kota side. Carriers choose the roads they are permitted to use and the halts that suit their other loads, so no single route should be assumed for your bike.
A car can do the trip in roughly 12 to 14 hours of driving. That number has little to do with how a bike travels as goods. The bike is collected, packed, loaded along with other consignments heading the same way, carried and then delivered locally in Indore, and each stage takes its own time. For planning, allow about 3–5 working days after dispatch. Busy months and outer endpoints can stretch this.
| Stage | What happens | Planning note |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry and assessment | Model, condition and both addresses are checked and a price is agreed | Start a week before you need the bike collected, more in peak months |
| Collection in Gurgaon | The bike is inspected, photographed, packed and picked up | Arrange your society's gate pass in advance |
| Consolidation | The bike may wait until a carrier heading towards Indore has space | This is the gap most people forget to plan for |
| Dispatch | The carrier leaves towards Madhya Pradesh | The 3–5 working day window counts from here |
| Arrival and local leg | The bike reaches Indore and is routed to your locality | Pithampur, Mhow, Simrol, Dewas and Ujjain can add time |
| Final handover | Delivery at the agreed time to the named receiver | Fixed by appointment, not automatically on arrival day |
A simple way to plan: if the bike is dispatched on a Monday, Thursday is the earliest realistic day to expect it in Indore, and it can run into the next week.
Months when this route gets busier
- May to July: new academic sessions, hostel and PG move-ins, and job transfers. Book earlier than usual.
- Dussehra to Diwali: festive travel and year-end moves. Carriers fill up and local delivery slots in Indore get tight.
- Monsoon (roughly late June to September): heavy spells in the Malwa region can slow the last leg and make open-ground unloading messy. The section on weather below covers what to do.
Where in Indore will the bike actually be received?
Indore is easy to describe badly. People say "near Vijay Nagar" for a place that is actually on the Bypass, or "Indore" for an address in Pithampur. The bike should go where you will sleep and park, not where you will work, and each part of the city brings its own practical questions.
A quick tip on Indore addresses: schemes and squares
Much of Indore is laid out in numbered development schemes, so an address often reads like "Scheme No. 54" or "Scheme 78, Part 2", and locals give directions by the nearest square, such as Vijay Nagar Square, LIG Square, Palasia Square or Radisson Square. When you share the delivery address, include the scheme number, the sector or part, the nearest square, the society or house number and a dropped pin. A driver who knows the city will use the square; the pin covers the last few hundred metres.
Vijay Nagar, Scheme 54, Scheme 74, Scheme 78 and Nipania
This is where many working professionals rent, especially those at Crystal IT Park and offices around AB Road. Expect gated societies, towers with basement or stilt parking, and security desks that want the receiver's name and flat number in advance. Some societies let the bike be wheeled into parking; others want a gate handover only.
For an AB Road address, share the society’s actual vehicle entrance and a safe, permitted stopping point. Main-road frontage does not always give a delivery vehicle access to the gate. A side road, service lane or alternative society entrance may make handover easier.
Super Corridor, MR-10 and the airport side
The Super Corridor is where large IT campuses and new townships have come up, and it is still developing. New townships often have several gates, half-finished approach roads and blocks that a first-time driver will not find from the society name alone. Share the township name, block or tower, the gate number you use and a pinned location. If there is ongoing civil or metro work near your stretch, mention it, because diversions there change week to week.
Palasia, Old Palasia, Sapna Sangita, Annapurna, Sudama Nagar and Rajendra Nagar
These are older, settled colonies with independent houses, small apartment buildings and street parking. Gate passes are rarely an issue. Stopping space is. Tell us where a loading vehicle can stand without blocking the lane and how far that is from your gate. A short push is routine; a long push through a busy colony road needs to be planned.
Rajwada, Sarafa, Jawahar Marg, Malharganj and the old city
The old market area has narrow lanes, heavy two-wheeler traffic and shops that spill onto the road. A larger vehicle cannot always reach the door safely or lawfully. Sarafa also turns into a busy food street at night. For homes here, we agree a nearby point where the vehicle can stop, usually in the morning, and the receiver wheels the bike the last stretch. Planning this at booking is far better than discovering it on delivery day.
Bhawarkuan, the university side and student PGs
A lot of students live in PGs and shared flats around Bhawarkuan, the university campuses and the coaching belt. Before booking, confirm with your PG owner or warden that the bike will have a parking spot, and share their number with us. If parking is not confirmed yet, deliver to a friend or relative with secure parking until it is.
Rau, Silicon City and Rau–Pithampur Road
Rau and the stretch towards Pithampur have residential colonies, colleges and IIM Indore's campus. Campus and hostel deliveries depend on the institution's own vehicle rules, so check with the hostel office first. For colonies in Rau and Silicon City, a pin and a landmark on the main road are usually enough.
Receiving decision table
Use this to work out what to share for your type of address and what to do if that address cannot take the bike. It does not describe any society's, campus's or company's own entry rules. Those you need to check locally.
| Receiving place | Details to share | What can change the local leg or appointment | Practical fallback |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gated society, Vijay Nagar / Nipania / Scheme 78 | Society, tower, flat, security desk number, receiver and backup | Gate-only handover, prior entry approval, main-road frontage and gate access | Gate handover with the receiver present; vehicle stops on a side road |
| Township on the Super Corridor | Township name, block, gate number, pinned location | Unfinished approach roads, multiple gates, ongoing work nearby | Meet at the main gate you normally use |
| House in Palasia, Annapurna or Rajendra Nagar | House number, colony, nearest square, where a vehicle can stand | Narrow colony roads, parked cars, no stopping space at the gate | Unload at the nearest wider road; receiver wheels the bike in |
| Old city home near Rajwada or Sarafa | Lane, landmark, nearest main road where a vehicle can stop lawfully | Market hours, lane width, night food-street crowd at Sarafa | Morning delivery at an agreed point on the main road |
| PG or hostel, Bhawarkuan or campus | Owner or warden contact, confirmed parking, receiver | Parking not allowed yet, campus vehicle rules, receiver in class | A friend or relative nearby with secure parking |
| Plant gate in Pithampur or Sanwer Road | Whether the site accepts personal vehicles, gate details, your shift | Security procedures, shift changes, distance from the city | Deliver to your residence, timed outside your shift |
| Parents' home in Indore | Parent's name and phone, best time of day, booking details shared with them | Receiver unfamiliar with the condition record | Send them the pickup photos and walk them through the check by phone |
Pithampur, Mhow, Simrol, Dewas and Ujjain: separate endpoints
Plenty of people moving "to Indore" actually live or work outside the city. These places are close, but they are not part of the Indore city rate, and each needs its own details.
| Endpoint | Who usually goes there | What to tell us |
|---|---|---|
| Pithampur | Pharma and auto plant staff | Sector, residential colony or plant, and whether the plant gate accepts personal vehicles |
| Mhow (Dr Ambedkar Nagar) | Defence families and residents of the cantonment town | Whether the address is inside an area with entry control, and who can meet the vehicle at the gate |
| Simrol (IIT Indore) and Khandwa Road | Students, faculty and campus staff | Campus vehicle rules, hostel or quarter number, a receiver who can come to the campus gate |
| Sanwer Road and nearby industrial areas | Factory staff and small business owners | Unit or residence address, shift timings, a landmark on the main road |
| Dewas | People working in Dewas industry or living there and commuting | Full Dewas address; it is quoted as its own city, not as Indore |
| Ujjain | Families, students and people with work in Ujjain | Full Ujjain address and a receiver; also quoted as its own city |
Monsoon and summer: what Malwa weather means for your bike
Weather does not usually delay a bike by much, but it does affect packing and the handover.
- During the monsoon, ask whether the packing has a water-resistant outer layer, and avoid an unloading point on open, muddy ground. If it is raining hard at delivery time, unwrap under a shed, stilt parking or porch so you can actually inspect the paint.
- Never let a bike be packed wet. Wash it a day or two before collection and let it dry fully. Moisture trapped under wrap marks paint and rusts exposed bolts over a 4–5 day journey.
- In May and June, afternoons in Indore are hot. Fix the handover for the morning or evening, and keep the receiver's phone handy so the bike is not left standing in the sun at a gate.
- After delivery, check the tyre pressure and battery before your first ride. A bike that has stood for several days, especially in heat, often needs a top-up of air.
Move-sequence worksheet
Fill this in before you book. Each line ties one part of your own move to the bike's schedule. Gaps here are what usually leave a bike arriving at an empty gate.
| Item | Why it matters | Your answer |
|---|---|---|
| Gurgaon gate pass or move-out approval | Many societies will not let a vehicle leave without it | Approved on: ________ |
| Your own travel date | The Delhi to Indore overnight train or a flight gets you there days before the bike | Reaching Indore: ________ |
| Keys to the new flat, PG or hostel allotment | You may not have access until a specific date | From: ________ |
| Parking permission at the new place | A room without confirmed parking cannot really receive a bike | Confirmed by: ________ |
| Confirmed dispatch date | The 3–5 working day window starts here, not at pickup | Dispatch: ________ |
| Receiver and backup in Indore | If one person is busy, the delivery still goes through | Receiver: ________ Backup: ________ |
| Final appointment | The handover is fixed by appointment | Date and time: ________ |
| If the bike arrives early | Holding and redelivery are best agreed before dispatch | Terms agreed: ________ |
Your joining date is not the date the bike should arrive. Most people spend their first few days in Indore settling in, finishing paperwork and figuring out the commute, and company buses or cabs often cover the first week anyway. Aim for the bike to arrive a day or two after you are settled, not on your first working morning.
How different bikes are assessed for this route
The approach is the same for every bike: check the model, check its condition, protect the parts that get damaged most and record its state before it leaves Gurgaon. The details differ by type.
Scooters and scooties
The most common vehicle on this route, mainly because of students and families. Panels crack and scratch easily, and the front apron and mirrors are exposed. Mention a top box, windscreen, backrest or floor mat when you ask for a price. Empty the under-seat storage completely.
Commuter motorcycles
Simple to handle. Mirrors, indicators and the front mudguard need the usual care. Crash guards and carriers change the width, so mention them.
Royal Enfield and other cruisers
Heavy and often fitted with crash bars, panniers, extra lights or screens. Weight changes how the bike is loaded and tied down, and accessories change the packing. Remove soft luggage and send it with your household goods. Tell us about hard panniers so they can be assessed.
Faired and sports bikes
Fairings, visors and clip-on bars are the most exposed parts. Low ground clearance also matters on loading ramps. Share photos of the fairing condition before booking so existing marks are on record.
Large and premium motorcycles
Higher value means more careful loading, more protection on paint and electronics, and a proper look at the declared value for cover. Some need a crate, a frame or a dedicated slot, which is quoted separately.
Electric scooters and motorcycles
An EV is moved only after the exact model is accepted for carriage. Share the make, model and variant, whether the battery is fixed or removable, and any history of warning lights, water exposure or battery damage. Do not open or remove the battery yourself, and pack the charger with your belongings unless agreed otherwise.
Non-running bikes
A bike with a dead battery, a flat tyre or a jammed chain can often still be moved, but it needs more hands at loading and unloading. Tell us up front so the right help is planned and the price reflects it.
From booking to receiving in Indore
- Share the details. Model and variant, condition, accessories, pickup sector in Gurugram, full Indore address with scheme, square and pin, and your rough dates.
- Get the assessment and price. The quote lists what is and is not included, using the checklist in the charges section.
- Agree the dates. Collection date, expected dispatch, the planning window and how the appointment in Indore will be fixed.
- Agree payment terms. The advance, when the balance is due and the cancellation terms, all in writing.
- Prepare the bike and papers. Washed and dry, photographed, odometer noted, loose items removed, document copies ready.
- Collection in Gurgaon. The bike is inspected with you or your authorised person, its condition is recorded and signed, then it is packed and loaded.
- Dispatch and updates. You are told when the bike leaves on its carrier, and whom to call during transit.
- Appointment in Indore. When the bike is close, the handover time is fixed with your receiver.
- Handover and check. Unwrap, compare with the pickup photos and record, note any problem on the delivery record, then sign.
Worked example: comparing two quotes for a scooty to Nipania
This example is hypothetical. It is not an invoice, a past job or our fixed charges. It only shows how to compare two quotes fairly.
Assumptions: a running 110cc scooty parked in the basement of a society in Sector 82, New Gurgaon, going to a rented flat in Nipania. Both quotes offer optional transit cover at an assumed ₹350, and the tax figure is an illustration only.
| Cost line | Quote A | Quote B |
|---|---|---|
| Collection, packing and carriage | ₹3,100 | ₹4,100 (covers every line below except cover) |
| Basement roll-out in Gurgaon | Not mentioned; ₹250 charged at pickup | Included |
| Delivery point | A handover point in the city | Door, at the Nipania society gate |
| Local leg to Nipania | Owner arranges, estimated ₹500 | Included |
| Tax | Added on top, assumed ₹160 | Included |
| Transit cover (chosen) | ₹350 | ₹350 |
| Comparable total | ₹4,360 | ₹4,450 |
Quote A looked ₹1,000 cheaper on the phone. Once the missing lines are added (₹3,100 + ₹250 + ₹500 + ₹160 + ₹350 = ₹4,360), the real gap with Quote B (₹4,100 + ₹350 = ₹4,450) is only ₹90. For that ₹90, Quote A also asks the owner to reach the handover point on time, find a way to get a scooty with almost no petrol to Nipania, and absorb the cost if that trip has to be arranged twice.
Neither quote is right or wrong. What matters is comparing them line by line before deciding.
Documents, MP registration and cover
For the transport itself, keep copies of the RC, the current insurance policy and your photo ID ready. Keep the originals with you. If a flatmate, colleague or parent will hand over or receive the bike, give them a signed authorisation and ask them to carry their own ID.
Moving the bike versus re-registering it in Madhya Pradesh
Carrying a Haryana-registered bike to Indore does not change its registration, and you do not need an NOC just to transport it. Re-registration is a separate question. Haryana's transport guidance links reassignment in another state to a stay of more than twelve months, which normally needs a clearance (NOC) from your original registering authority in Haryana.
On the Indore side, registration and road tax for vehicles coming from other states are handled by the Indore RTO (code MP-09), whose office is at Nayta Mundla. Road tax for a vehicle registered elsewhere depends on Madhya Pradesh's current rules and your bike's age and value, so check with the RTO or the state transport portal rather than relying on a figure you have heard. If the RC shows a loan, your lender's clearance will usually be needed too.
Transit cover
Transit cover applies only if you choose it and it is actually issued. Before dispatch, read what it covers, the declared value it is based on, what it excludes and how claims are made. Your own motor policy may not cover the bike while it is carried as goods. Cover improves your position if something goes wrong, but it does not mean every claim is paid in full.
If you find damage
Inspect the bike at handover against the pickup record and photos before signing. Note any visible damage on the delivery record, photograph it and report it promptly. If you notice something later, report it in writing the same day with photos and the booking number, and keep the packing material until the issue is closed.
Road transport, rail parcel or riding it yourself
Road transport is not the only way to get your bike to Indore. Here is a fair comparison.
| Option | What you do | What to confirm | Usually suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Road transport by a carrier | Prepare the bike, hand it over in Gurgaon and receive it in Indore | Delivery point, what the price includes, cover, timing window | Owners who want door collection and delivery without station visits |
| Rail parcel | Pack the bike, book it at a parcel office, collect it at Indore Junction | Which station accepts two-wheelers that day, the train, documents, empty-tank rule | Owners near the stations who can handle booking and collection |
| Accompanied luggage | Book the bike as luggage against your own ticket | Whether your train and stations accept it, packing, collection on arrival | Owners travelling by train who want the bike with them |
| Riding it yourself | Ride about 800 km over two long days | Roads open to two-wheelers, rest stops, heat or rain, service condition | Experienced riders with spare days and light luggage |
What rail really involves on this route
Most train options to Indore leave from Delhi stations rather than Gurugram. The New Delhi to Indore Intercity is a popular overnight train, but timings and parcel acceptance can change, so check the current schedule and ask the parcel office directly. Gurugram station has only a few trains towards Indore, and whether its parcel office books two-wheelers for them must be confirmed before you go.
Railway parcel bookings need proper packing, the RC and government ID, and an empty fuel tank. You also handle the trip to the station in Delhi, the booking, the collection from Indore Junction and the ride home from there. Add the cab or tempo to the Delhi station and your own time before comparing the freight figure with a door-to-door road quote.
Riding to Indore
Riding is possible for experienced riders, but two-wheelers are not permitted on access-controlled expressways such as the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, so the ride uses national highways through Rajasthan. Get the bike serviced, keep luggage light, avoid riding through the hottest hours in summer and plan at least one overnight halt. If you are also moving a household and starting a new job that week, ask yourself honestly whether two days on the highway is the best use of it.
Common mistakes on the Gurgaon to Indore route
- Writing "Indore" when the address is actually in Pithampur, Mhow, Dewas or Ujjain.
- Giving the plant or office address without checking whether it receives personal vehicles.
- Leaving out the scheme number and nearest square, then spending an hour on calls with the driver.
- Giving only an AB Road frontage address without identifying the vehicle entrance or a safe stopping point.
- Booking delivery to a PG before the owner has agreed to parking.
- Planning an old-city delivery in the evening, when market lanes are at their busiest.
- Comparing quotes on the phone figure without adding packing, local legs, GST and cover.
- Forgetting the Gurgaon society gate pass until collection day.
- Letting the bike be packed while still wet after a wash, especially before monsoon delivery.
- Signing "received in good condition" before unwrapping and checking the bike.
How BikeShift Gurgaon handles an Indore enquiry
When you contact us, we ask for the bike's model and condition, your Gurugram pickup point and the exact receiving address, whether it is in Indore city, Pithampur, Mhow, Simrol, Dewas or Ujjain. We then tell you what the price includes and what it does not. If an address looks difficult, such as a main-road-facing gate, an old-city lane, a plant gate or a campus, we say so and suggest a practical alternative before you book.
Whoever you choose, judge them on scope in writing, a proper condition record at pickup, and a phone number that actually answers while the bike is on the road. Be wary of promises nobody can honestly make, like a fixed delivery date regardless of conditions or packing that is "100% scratch-proof". If a provider mentions an approval or certification, ask for something you can verify. BikeShift Gurgaon does not claim IBA approval.
Joining a new employer in Indore: prepare the relocation claim
Before booking, check whether your employer covers moving the bike, whether it requires an approved vendor and whose name must be on the invoice. Tell the booking contact about any company billing details before the invoice is issued. Keep the written quote, consignment note, condition record, payment receipts and delivery acknowledgement for your claim.
If the final address is still undecided, separate the joining date from the receiving plan. A company gate, temporary stay and rented flat can have different access and receiving hours. Get the actual address accepted rather than giving only the employer's name.

Frequently asked questions
What are the bike transport charges from Gurgaon to Indore?
Planning ranges for one assessed bike are about ₹3,200 to ₹4,400 for a scooter, ₹3,600 to ₹4,800 for a commuter motorcycle, ₹4,300 to ₹5,700 for a street or performance bike, ₹4,800 to ₹6,400 for a Royal Enfield or similar cruiser, ₹4,000 to ₹5,200 for an accepted electric two-wheeler and ₹6,800 to ₹10,500 for a large or premium motorcycle. The final quote depends on the exact model, its condition, both addresses, packing, local legs, GST and any cover you choose.
How many days does bike transport from Gurgaon to Indore take?
Plan on about 3 to 5 working days after the bike is actually dispatched. Collection in Gurgaon happens before that, the bike may wait for a carrier heading towards Indore, and the final handover is fixed by appointment. Deliveries to Pithampur, Mhow, Simrol, Dewas or Ujjain can take a little longer.
What is the road distance from Gurgaon to Indore?
Roughly 780 to 870 km, depending on the route and your exact pickup and delivery points. Routes through the Jaipur and Ajmer side and through the Kota side both fall in this range. The carrier decides the actual roads used for your bike.
Can you deliver to Pithampur, Mhow, Dewas or Ujjain?
These are assessed as their own endpoints, not as part of the Indore city rate. Share the full address, a receiver and, for Pithampur plants or the Mhow cantonment area, whether a personal vehicle can be received at that gate. Often a nearby residence is the easier delivery point.
Can my bike be delivered to a society on AB Road in Vijay Nagar?
The exact address is assessed before booking. Share the side road, service lane or alternative gate the delivery vehicle can use, along with the society name, tower, flat number and security desk’s number. Confirm a safe, permitted stopping point.
Can you deliver a scooty to a PG or hostel in Indore?
Yes, if the PG owner or hostel office has agreed to parking. Share their contact and a receiver who will be available at the agreed time. For campus hostels, check the institution's vehicle rules first. If parking is not confirmed, deliver to a friend or relative nearby.
Is scooty transport from Gurgaon to Indore cheaper than a motorcycle?
Usually, yes. A standard scooter sits in the lowest band, about ₹3,200 to ₹4,400. A top box, windscreen, larger body or existing cracks that need extra care can push it higher.
Do you transport Royal Enfield bikes from Gurgaon to Indore?
Yes, after assessing the exact model. A Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350 or Himalayan usually falls in the ₹4,800 to ₹6,400 planning band. Mention crash bars, panniers and screens when you ask, because they affect packing and space.
Can you move an electric scooter from Gurgaon to Indore?
Only after the specific model is accepted for carriage. The planning band for an accepted EV is about ₹4,000 to ₹5,200. Follow the manufacturer's and carrier's instructions on charge level, do not remove the battery yourself, and pack the charger with your belongings unless agreed otherwise.
Is sending a bike by train from Delhi to Indore cheaper?
The railway freight figure can look lower, but it covers only station to station. You still need to take the bike to a Delhi station that is accepting two-wheelers, pack it, empty the tank, complete the booking and collect it from Indore Junction. Compare the full door-to-door cost and your time, not just the freight figure.
Do I need an NOC to send my Haryana bike to Indore?
Not just to transport it. If you will keep and use the bike in Madhya Pradesh for more than twelve months, Haryana's guidance points to reassignment in the new state, which normally needs an NOC from your Haryana registering authority. Check road tax and re-registration with the Indore RTO (MP-09), and ask your lender if the bike is financed.
Which documents do I need for bike transport to Indore?
Copies of the RC, the current insurance policy and your photo ID. If someone else hands over or receives the bike, give them a signed authorisation and ask them to carry their own ID. Keep the consignment note or booking record until delivery is signed off.
What if the bike reaches Indore before I do?
Sort this out before dispatch. Ask whether holding is available, for how long, the daily charge and how redelivery works. Often the cheaper option is to name a receiver in Indore, such as a relative or colleague, or to move the dispatch date so the bike arrives after you.
Should I empty the petrol tank before sending the bike?
Follow the instruction given for your booking. Road carriers set their own limits, while railway parcel bookings need an empty tank. The safest way is to plan your last few rides so the tank runs low naturally. Never siphon petrol yourself or pack spare fuel in a bottle.
Is transit insurance included in the price?
Do not assume it is. The written quote should state whether cover is included, the declared value, the premium and the main exclusions. Cover applies only if it is actually issued, and it does not guarantee that every claim is paid in full.
