Bike Transport from Gurgaon to Surat
Moving to Surat and sending your scooty or motorcycle separately while you take the train or a flight? Here is the short answer. By road, Surat is roughly 1,050–1,180 km from Gurgaon. The exact figure depends on where in Gurugram the bike starts, where in Surat it ends and which road the carrying vehicle is allowed to use. Once the bike has actually been dispatched, plan on about 4–6 working days for it to reach Surat. Planning prices for one bike run from about ₹3,600 for a scooter to ₹11,500 for a large or premium motorcycle.
On this route, the one detail that changes a quote most is which side of Surat the bike is going to. A flat in Adajan across the Tapi, a tower on Vesu or Dumas Road, a society in Varachha, a room near Sachin GIDC and a company township in Hazira are five very different last legs. Hazira, Kamrej, Bardoli and Olpad are also treated as their own endpoints, not as part of a single "Surat" price.

Gurgaon to Surat at a glance
| Item | What to plan for |
|---|---|
| Road distance | About 1,050–1,180 km. Your pickup sector, the Surat locality and the permitted commercial route decide the real figure. |
| Transit planning | About 4–6 working days after confirmed dispatch. Collection in Gurugram comes before this, and the Surat handover is fixed by appointment. |
| Planning price | About ₹3,600–₹11,500 for one assessed bike, depending mainly on its type, size, value and condition. |
| Delivery areas | Surat localities are assessed one address at a time. Hazira, Kamrej, Kadodara, Bardoli, Olpad, Navsari, Bharuch and Vapi are separate endpoints. |
| Busy periods | The weeks around Diwali and heavy monsoon spells (roughly June to September) can stretch local delivery slots in Surat. |
| What the quote confirms | Collection and delivery points, packing, loading, carriage, unloading, any local legs, applicable tax, the cover you choose and any special handling. |
Who usually books this route, and what each move needs
Gurgaon to Surat is not one kind of move. Knowing which group you fall into tells you what to sort out first.
- Job moves to Hazira and the industrial belt. Engineers and staff joining plants along Hazira Road, or units in Sachin, Pandesara and Udhna. The first question is whether the bike goes to a company township, a plant gate or a rented flat in the city. Most plant gates will not receive a personal vehicle, so this needs checking before booking.
- Office moves to Vesu, Dumas Road, Athwa and the Diamond Bourse side. Bank, IT, trading and diamond-sector staff usually rent in the high-rise belt of south-west Surat. Society gate rules matter more here than distance.
- Gujarati families going back home. Many families who spent years in Gurgaon send a scooty or a second bike to a parent's house in Surat, Navsari or Bardoli. Name the person receiving it and share the pickup photos with them in advance.
- Students. Students joining colleges such as SVNIT near Ichchhanath or the university campus on Udhna–Magdalla Road often stay in hostels or PGs that may not have parking yet. Confirm parking before the bike arrives.
- Textile and trade connections. People who work between Delhi's wholesale markets and Surat's Ring Road textile belt sometimes need a bike at the Surat end. A home address is almost always easier than a market address for delivery.
Gurgaon to Surat bike transport charges
The ranges below are planning figures for one assessed bike, moved by road with standard packing, from a normally accessible Gurugram address to an accessible address within the main Surat city area. They are not a fixed tariff. Two bikes in the same row can be priced differently once the model, condition and both addresses are known.
| Bike type | Typical examples | Planning range (one bike) | What usually moves the price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scooter | Activa, Jupiter, Access, Dio, Fascino and similar 110–125cc scooters | ₹3,600–₹5,200 | Top box, windscreen, leg guard, larger body panels, existing cracks that need extra care |
| Commuter motorcycle | Splendor, Shine, Platina, Pulsar 125 or 150, Unicorn | ₹4,000–₹5,000 | Crash guards, carriers, saree guards, a weak battery or worn tyres that make loading harder |
| Street or performance | Apache RTR, FZ, Pulsar N and NS series, MT-15, R15, Duke 200 or 250 | ₹4,800–₹6,000 | Fairings, wider bars, higher value, aftermarket exhausts or lights |
| Cruiser or tourer | Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Bullet, Himalayan, Jawa, Avenger | ₹5,200–₹6,800 | Weight, overall width, panniers, crash bars, touring screens |
| Accepted electric two-wheeler | Electric scooters and motorcycles, only after the specific model is accepted | ₹4,400–₹5,600 | Model acceptance, battery condition, charger and accessories, handling instructions |
| Large or premium | 650cc twins, larger adventure bikes, imported or high-value motorcycles | ₹7,000–₹11,500 | Weight, value, full fairings, extra protection, more careful loading |
Delivery to Hazira, Kamrej, Kadodara, Palsana, Bardoli, Olpad or a town such as Navsari, Bharuch, Ankleshwar or Vapi is assessed separately. So is a hard-to-reach address inside the city, such as a narrow lane in the old city.
Why a Surat quote is not the same as an Ahmedabad quote
People sometimes assume Surat should cost the same as Gurgaon to Ahmedabad, since both are in Gujarat. Surat is roughly 150–250 km further by road, depending on the route, and it sits on the corridor towards Mumbai. Carriers heading that way load for Surat, Navsari, Vapi and Mumbai together, so space and timing depend on that whole corridor. That is why our Surat bands sit between the Ahmedabad and Mumbai bands rather than matching either.
What your Surat quote should spell out
Before you agree to a price, from us or anyone else, check that it clearly states:
- the collection point in Gurugram: your door, society gate, office parking or a handover point;
- the delivery point in Surat and which locality it is in, written on the quote;
- whether delivery is at your door or at a handover point you must reach yourself;
- what packing is used, and which parts get extra protection;
- loading at pickup and unloading at delivery;
- any local leg in Surat that is charged separately, especially for Hazira or outer areas;
- GST, and whether it is included or added;
- transit cover, if you choose it: declared value, premium and main exclusions;
- holding charges if nobody can receive the bike, and the redelivery charge;
- special handling for a non-running bike, an EV or a heavy motorcycle.
Cross-check against prices published for this route
We read the price lists that Delhi NCR to Surat providers and directories published in 2025 and 2026. They vary a lot, mostly because each one includes a different scope. Use these as a sanity check, not as anyone's tariff.
| What was published | Range seen | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Directory bands for 1,000–1,500 km, 100–150cc bikes | About ₹3,500–₹4,500 | Often excludes doorstep legs at one or both ends, or cover |
| Directory bands for 1,000–1,500 km, sports bikes | About ₹8,000–₹12,000 | Higher value and fairings push these up |
| Packers' listings for Delhi to Surat bike transport | About ₹4,000–₹7,200 | Usually a general band, not model-wise |
| Some Delhi to Surat pages, commuter bikes and scooters | About ₹5,900–₹8,000, and above ₹10,000 on a few | Check what extra service justifies the higher figure |
One more thing to watch: at least one published Delhi to Surat page gives the distance as around 2,200 km, nearly double the real road figure. If a provider gets the basic distance wrong, ask how they arrived at their price. A door-to-door quote far below ₹3,500 for a scooter usually leaves something out. A commuter bike quote well above ₹8,000 should come with a clear reason.
Distance, route and realistic timing
Mapped driving routes from Gurgaon to Surat come out at about 1,050–1,180 km. Freight towards south Gujarat usually runs down the NH-48 corridor through Rajasthan into Gujarat, or uses sections of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway where commercial vehicles are permitted, before reaching Surat via the Vadodara and Bharuch side. The carrier decides the actual roads, halts and any transfer point, so do not treat any single route as fixed.
A car can cover the distance in roughly 14 to 18 hours of driving. That has little to do with how long a bike takes as freight. Your bike is collected, packed, consolidated with other consignments, carried and then delivered locally, and each stage takes its own time. For planning, allow about 4–6 working days after the bike has been dispatched for it to reach Surat. This is a planning estimate, not a promise for every booking.
| Stage | What happens | Planning note |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry and assessment | Model, condition and both addresses are checked, and a written price is agreed | Start a week or more before you need the bike collected |
| Collection in Gurugram | The bike is inspected, photographed, packed and picked up | Your society or office may need a gate pass for the bike to leave |
| Consolidation | The bike may wait until a carrier heading to south Gujarat has space | Ask for the expected dispatch date in writing |
| Dispatch | The carrier leaves towards Surat | The 4–6 working day window counts from here, not from collection |
| Arrival and local leg | The bike reaches Surat and is routed to your locality or endpoint | Hazira, Kamrej, Bardoli and Olpad can add time |
| Final handover | Delivery at the agreed time to the named receiver | Fixed by appointment, not automatically on arrival day |
A simple way to plan: if the bike is dispatched on a Monday, Friday is the earliest realistic day to expect it in Surat, and the window can run into the following week.
Surat-specific timing: Diwali and the monsoon
Diwali. Many diamond and textile units in Surat take a long break around Diwali, and a large number of workers travel home. Moves into Surat also pick up just before and after the festival. If your bike must reach Surat in late October or November, book early and keep your dates flexible by a few days.
Monsoon. South Gujarat gets heavy rain spells between roughly June and September, and some low-lying stretches of Surat see waterlogging after a downpour. That can push a local delivery slot by a day. During these months, prefer a delivery address with covered or stilt parking, avoid leaving the packed bike in the open, and unwrap and dry it soon after handover so moisture is not trapped under the packing.
Where in Surat will the bike actually be received?
The bike should normally go where you will sleep and park it, not where you will work. Surat is split by the Tapi, and a delivery that looks short on the map can mean crossing a busy bridge at peak hour. Each part of the city also brings its own practical questions, which is why there is no single delivery price for "Surat".
Adajan, Pal, Palanpur, Rander and Jahangirpura (west of the Tapi)
This side has a large number of newer residential societies and towers, and many people moving for Hazira jobs rent here because it is closer to Hazira Road. Delivery is usually simple, but security desks often want the receiver's name, tower and flat number in advance. Some societies allow the bike to be wheeled into the basement; others only allow handover at the main gate. Share the society name, tower, flat number, parking slot if you have one and the security desk's number.
Vesu, Piplod, City Light, Althan, Bhatar, Ghod Dod Road and Dumas Road
South-west Surat has the city's densest belt of high-rise towers, plus offices around Vesu and the Diamond Bourse side near Khajod. Gate passes and entry timings for outside vehicles are common. If you are moving into a newly completed tower, check that parking slots have actually been allotted, as some new buildings take time to sort this out. A dropped pin and the correct gate number save a lot of time here.
Old city: Chowk Bazaar, Nanpura, Gopipura, Mahidharpura and nearby
Parts of the old walled-city area have narrow lanes and older buildings where a loading vehicle cannot safely or lawfully reach the door. Agree a nearby point at booking where the bike can be unloaded and wheeled the last stretch by the receiver. Surat Metro work, including the underground section around Chowk Bazaar and the station area, has also meant barricades and diversions on some central roads during 2026. Mention a landmark and the nearest open main road.
Varachha, Mota Varachha, Katargam, Kapodra, Sarthana and Puna
East Surat is home to many diamond units and dense residential societies. Society names repeat across areas, so the society name alone is often not enough. Share a pinned location, a landmark and a receiver who will be reachable on the day. Some metro corridor work has also run through parts of this side, which can change the approach to a society.
Udhna, Pandesara, Bhestan, Sachin, Dindoli, Godadara and Limbayat
The south and south-east are a mix of industrial estates and fast-growing housing. People working in Sachin or Pandesara GIDC often give the factory address by habit. Many units have their own security and will not accept a personal vehicle at the gate, so check with your supervisor or HR first. A residence address and your shift timings usually make for a cleaner delivery.
Hazira industrial belt and company townships
Hazira is well outside the main city, along Hazira Road towards the coast, with large steel, engineering, gas and port operations and their townships. Treat it as its own endpoint. Townships and plant gates usually have entry procedures for outside vehicles, and some will not receive a personal vehicle at all. Ask your HR or township office three things before booking: can a personal vehicle be received, at which gate, and who must be present. If you do not get a clear answer, use a residence in Adajan, Pal or Ichchhapore instead.
Kamrej, Kadodara, Palsana, Bardoli and Olpad, and towns beyond
These areas around Surat are growing quickly, but they are outside the city and assessed separately. Share the full address, village or society name and a landmark. Navsari, Bharuch, Ankleshwar and Vapi are separate towns with their own delivery legs. Quote them by name rather than writing "near Surat".
Receiving decision table
Use this to work out what to share for your type of address, and what to do if that address cannot take the bike. It does not describe any particular society's or company's rules; those you need to check locally.
| Receiving place | Details to share | What can change the local leg or appointment | Practical fallback |
|---|---|---|---|
| High-rise society, Adajan, Pal or Vesu side | Society, tower, flat, parking slot, security desk number, receiver and backup | Gate-only handover, prior entry approval, bridge traffic at peak hours | Handover at the main gate with the receiver present, then the bike is wheeled to parking |
| Society in Varachha, Katargam or Puna | Full address, landmark, pinned location, receiver timings | Repeated society names, metro works near the approach, receiver free only late | Backup receiver nearby, or a fixed time window |
| Old city lane | Building, lane and nearest main road where a vehicle can stop lawfully | Lane width, diversions, no safe stopping place at the door | Agreed nearby point, with the receiver wheeling the bike in |
| Factory in Sachin, Pandesara or Udhna | Whether the unit accepts personal vehicles, gate details, shift pattern, residence address | Security procedures, shift changes | Deliver to your residence, timed outside your shift |
| Hazira plant gate or township | Township or plant name, gate number, approval contact, receiver's name and phone | Entry rules, separate assessment as an outer endpoint | Deliver to a residence in Adajan, Pal or Ichchhapore |
| Kamrej, Bardoli, Olpad or a nearby town | Full address, village or society, landmark, receiver | Distance from the city, separate assessment | A receiver at a city address if you are not there on the day |
| Hostel, PG or shared flat | Warden or owner contact, confirmation of parking, receiver | No parking permission yet, receiver changes at short notice | A friend or colleague with secure parking until your space is confirmed |
Worked example: Hazira township or an Adajan flat?
This is a hypothetical planning scenario, not an invoice, a past job or a fixed charge. It shows how the delivery address changes the real cost and risk. The bike is a running Classic 350 collected from a society in DLF Phase 3. The owner is joining a plant in Hazira and has been offered a township room, but has also found a rented flat in Adajan.
| Cost line | Option A: Hazira township | Option B: Adajan flat |
|---|---|---|
| Collection, packing and carriage in the cruiser band | ₹5,900 | ₹5,900 |
| Local leg to the delivery address | Outer endpoint, assessed: example ₹700 | Within city area: included |
| Entry approval at the gate | Needs township office approval in advance | Society security informed in advance |
| Risk of a failed first attempt | Higher if approval is not in place: example redelivery ₹600 | Low if the receiver is named |
| Transit cover (chosen, example) | ₹500 | ₹500 |
| GST | As shown on the invoice | As shown on the invoice |
| Example total before GST | ₹7,100, or ₹7,700 with a redelivery | ₹6,400 |
The gap here is not about distance from Gurgaon. It comes from the last 25 km or so in Surat and from whether the gate will actually accept the bike. If the township confirms in writing that it will receive personal vehicles, Option A works fine. If not, delivering to the Adajan flat and riding to Hazira is simpler and cheaper.
Move-sequence worksheet
Fill this in before you book. Gaps here are what usually leave a bike waiting at an empty gate in Surat.
| Item | Why it matters | Your answer |
|---|---|---|
| Gurugram vehicle-release permission | Many societies and office buildings want a gate pass before a vehicle leaves | Approved on: ________ |
| Your own arrival in Surat | Your train or flight usually reaches well before the bike | Arriving: ________ |
| Parking permission at the new place | A PG or new tower without allotted parking cannot really receive a bike | Confirmed by: ________ |
| Township or plant approval (Hazira, GIDC) | Decides whether you can use that address at all | Yes / No: ________ |
| Confirmed dispatch date | The 4–6 working day window starts here | Dispatch: ________ |
| Receiver and backup | If one person is unavailable, delivery does not fail | Receiver: ________ Backup: ________ |
| Final appointment | The handover is fixed by appointment | Date and time: ________ |
| If the bike arrives early | Holding and redelivery terms are best agreed before dispatch | Terms agreed: ________ |
Your joining date is not the date the bike should arrive. Most people spend the first few days in Surat sorting out the flat, the society paperwork and the commute. Use an auto, a city bus or the office cab for those days, and aim for the bike to reach a day or two after you have settled.
How different bikes are handled on this route
The basic approach is the same for every bike: confirm the model, check its condition, protect the vulnerable parts and record its state before it leaves Gurugram. Our homepage has the full packing table for every bike category. The points below are the ones that matter most for a long run to south Gujarat.
- Scooters. Body panels and front aprons scratch and crack easily. A top box usually comes off and is packed separately. Mention a windscreen or leg guard when asking for a price.
- Commuter motorcycles. The simplest to handle. Mirrors, indicators and the front mudguard need the most care. Crash guards and carriers change the width, so mention them.
- Royal Enfield and other cruisers. Weight decides how the bike is loaded and secured. Remove soft luggage and send it with your household goods. Fitted hard panniers and crash bars are assessed before booking.
- Faired and sport bikes. Fairings, visors and clip-ons are the exposed parts. Share clear photos of the fairing condition, because existing marks must be on the pickup record.
- Large and premium bikes. These need more careful loading and more protection on paint and body. List aftermarket parts and think carefully about the declared value for cover.
- Electric scooters and motorcycles. Accepted only after the exact model is checked. Follow the manufacturer's and carrier's instructions on charge level. Do not remove or open the battery yourself. Pack the charger with your belongings unless agreed otherwise.
- Non-running bikes. They can often still be moved, but need more hands at loading and unloading. Tell us if the wheels roll, the steering turns and the brakes work.
Before the bike is packed
- Wash the bike a day or two before collection and let it dry fully. This matters more if delivery falls in the Surat monsoon.
- Let the engine and exhaust cool before packing.
- Remove phone mounts, tank bags, top-box contents and anything under the seat.
- Hand over only the keys needed and keep the spare with you.
- Photograph all four sides, close-ups of existing marks and the odometer.
- Follow the fuel instruction given for your booking. Never siphon petrol yourself or pack spare fuel.
From booking to handover in Surat
- Share the details. Model and variant, condition, accessories, pickup sector in Gurugram, full Surat address and your rough dates.
- Get a written quote. It lists what is and is not included, using the checklist above.
- Agree dates. Collection date, expected dispatch date and how the Surat appointment will be fixed.
- Sort out access at both ends. Gate pass in Gurugram; society, township or factory approval in Surat; names of the person releasing and the person receiving the bike.
- Prepare the bike and papers. Clean, dry, photographed, odometer noted, accessories removed, document copies ready.
- Collection. The bike is inspected with you or your authorised person, its condition is recorded and signed, and only then is it packed and loaded.
- Dispatch. You get confirmation when the bike actually leaves on its carrier.
- Appointment in Surat. Once the bike is close, the handover time is fixed with your receiver.
- Handover and check. Unwrap, compare with the pickup photos and record, and note any visible damage before signing.
Documents, Gujarat registration and cover
For the transport itself, keep copies of the RC, the bike's current insurance and the owner's photo ID ready. Keep the originals you need for riding. If someone else will hand over or receive the bike, give them a signed authorisation letter and ask them to carry their own ID.
Moving the bike versus re-registering it in Gujarat
Transporting a Haryana-registered bike to Surat does not change its registration, and an NOC is not usually needed just to carry it. Registration becomes a question if you stay. Haryana's transport guidance links applying for reassignment in the new state to a stay of more than twelve months, and that normally needs a clearance from the original registering authority in Haryana. Check road tax rules for out-of-state vehicles with the Gujarat transport department rather than assuming a blanket exemption.
Surat has more than one RTO jurisdiction. GJ-05 covers Surat city, with its office on Ring Road at Nanpura, while GJ-28 is the Pal RTO on the Adajan side. Nearby areas fall under other offices, such as GJ-19 for Bardoli and GJ-21 for Navsari. Your residential address decides which office handles your file. If the RC shows hypothecation, ask your lender for its NOC early, as it is needed for most registration changes.
Transit cover and damage
Transit cover applies only if you choose it and it is actually issued. Before dispatch, read the declared value it is based on, the premium, the main exclusions and the claim steps. Your own motor policy may not cover the bike while it is carried as goods. At delivery, inspect the bike against the pickup record before signing, write any visible damage on the delivery record and photograph it. Report anything you find later in writing straight away, with photos and the booking number.
Road transport, rail parcel or riding it yourself
| Option | What you do | What to confirm | Usually suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Road transport by a carrier | Prepare the bike, hand it over in Gurugram and receive it at the agreed Surat address | Delivery locality, what the price includes, cover, dispatch date | Owners who want door collection and delivery without station visits |
| Rail parcel | Pack the bike, book it at the parcel office and collect it from the station in Surat | Booking station, arrival station (Surat or Udhna), the train, acceptance of your model, documents | Owners who live near the booking station and can handle both ends |
| Rail luggage with your journey | Book the bike against your own ticket on the train you take | Whether your train and stations accept it, packing, empty tank, collection on arrival | Owners travelling by train who want the bike to arrive with them |
| Riding it yourself | Ride roughly 1,100 km or more on permitted roads, over two to three days | Which roads allow two-wheelers, overnight stops, weather, the bike's service condition | Experienced riders with spare days and light luggage |
What rail really involves on this route
Long-distance trains to Surat mostly leave from New Delhi or Hazrat Nizamuddin, with a few services touching Gurgaon station. In Surat, trains stop at Surat (ST), Udhna Junction (UDN) or both, a few kilometres apart. Before booking, confirm which station your bike will reach and that its parcel office is accepting two-wheelers on that train. Railway bookings need proper packing, the RC and ID, and an empty tank. You also do the station work at both ends and get the bike home from the station, which can be a long way from Adajan, Vesu or Hazira.
Riding to Surat
Two-wheelers are not allowed on access-controlled expressways. On this trip, that includes the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram, the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway and the Ahmedabad–Vadodara Expressway. You will have to use permitted national and state highways, which makes the ride longer than the car figure. Get the bike serviced, keep luggage light, avoid riding in the dark and plan at least two overnight stops. If you are also moving house and starting a new job, think honestly about whether three days of riding is the best use of that week.
Choosing a provider for Gurgaon to Surat
- Prefer the provider who asks which Surat locality the bike is going to. A quote for just "Surat" is a quote that can change later.
- Get the scope, dates, cover and extras in writing, whether you book a carrier, a booking service or a marketplace.
- Ask who handles the bike at each stage and who to call if the Surat address or date changes.
- Verify any credential you are told about. BikeShift Gurgaon does not claim IBA approval.
- Be careful with promises no honest provider can make: guaranteed delivery dates regardless of conditions, scratch-proof packing, or cover that pays for everything.
- Insist on a signed condition record at pickup. Without it, a damage report is your word against theirs.
Common mistakes on the Gurgaon to Surat route
- Giving a Hazira plant or GIDC factory address without checking whether it can receive a personal vehicle.
- Writing "Surat" when the address is in Kamrej, Bardoli, Olpad or Navsari.
- Booking delivery for your joining date instead of a day when you are settled.
- Planning a tight delivery date in the Diwali weeks or during a heavy monsoon spell.
- Comparing quotes only on the headline figure, without checking the Surat local leg, tax and cover.
- Leaving accessories, chargers or documents in the bike's storage.
- Signing the delivery record before unwrapping and checking the bike.
How BikeShift Gurgaon handles your Surat enquiry
When you contact us, we ask for the bike model, its condition, your Gurugram pickup point and the exact receiving address, whether in Adajan, Vesu, Varachha, Udhna, Hazira or a town nearby. We then explain what the price includes and what it does not. If an address looks difficult, such as a plant gate, a township, an old-city lane or a new tower without parking, we say so and suggest a practical alternative. You can read more about us, see our terms and conditions and privacy policy, or contact us directly.
If the bike is moving with furniture or another vehicle
For a Gurgaon to Surat household move, first decide whether the bike is part of the household booking or has its own transport arrangement. Ask how it will be separated from cartons and furniture, and ensure it has an inventory entry and condition record of its own.
With two bikes, list both models, accessories, running conditions and receivers. Ask whether collection and delivery will happen together; do not assume a combined pickup gives the same arrival date or a fixed discount. A car travelling at the same time also needs its own accepted scope and records.
If family in Surat will receive the bike before you arrive, send them the pickup photos and keys/accessory list. They need enough time and an agreed place to inspect it, rather than simply accepting the wrapped bike with the furniture.
Frequently asked questions
What are the bike transport charges from Gurgaon to Surat?
Planning ranges for one assessed bike are about ₹3,600 to ₹5,200 for a scooter, ₹4,000 to ₹5,000 for a commuter motorcycle, ₹4,800 to ₹6,000 for a street or performance bike, ₹5,200 to ₹6,800 for a cruiser or tourer, ₹4,400 to ₹5,600 for an accepted electric two-wheeler and ₹7,000 to ₹11,500 for a large or premium motorcycle. The written quote depends on the exact model, its condition, the Gurugram pickup point, the Surat delivery locality, packing, applicable tax and any cover you choose.
How many days does bike transport from Gurgaon to Surat take?
Plan on about 4 to 6 working days after the bike is actually dispatched. Collection in Gurugram happens before that, and the handover in Surat is fixed by appointment. Around Diwali and during heavy monsoon spells, keep a few extra days in hand.
What is the road distance from Gurgaon to Surat?
Mapped road routes come out at roughly 1,050 to 1,180 km. The figure for your bike depends on the pickup sector in Gurugram, the delivery locality in or around Surat and the road the carrying vehicle is allowed to use.
Can you deliver my bike to Hazira or a company township?
Hazira is assessed as a separate endpoint, not as part of the Surat city price. Plant gates and company townships usually have their own entry rules, so check with your HR, admin or township office whether a personal vehicle can be received and at which gate. If the answer is unclear, a residence in Adajan, Pal or another city locality is the safer choice.
Do you deliver to Kamrej, Bardoli, Olpad, Navsari or Vapi?
These are quoted as their own endpoints after we see the full address. Kamrej, Kadodara, Palsana, Bardoli and Olpad are outside the main city, and Navsari, Bharuch, Ankleshwar and Vapi are separate towns. Share the address, a landmark and the receiver's number for an assessed price.
How much does scooty transport from Gurgaon to Surat cost?
A standard scooter such as an Activa, Jupiter or Access usually sits in the ₹3,600 to ₹5,200 planning range. A top box, windscreen, leg guard, larger body or existing panel damage can move it up within or beyond that range.
Can you send a Royal Enfield or a heavy bike from Gurgaon to Surat?
Yes, after the model is assessed. A Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor or Himalayan usually falls in the ₹5,200 to ₹6,800 planning range. 650cc twins and other large or premium bikes are in the ₹7,000 to ₹11,500 range. Tell us about crash guards, panniers and screens when you ask for a quote.
Can you move an electric scooter from Gurgaon to Surat?
Only after the exact make, model and variant are accepted for carriage. Share whether the battery is fixed or removable and any history of warning lights, swelling or water exposure. Follow the manufacturer's and carrier's instructions on charge level, and do not open or remove the battery yourself.
Is sending a bike by train from Gurgaon to Surat cheaper?
The railway freight alone can be lower, but it covers only station-to-station carriage. You still take the bike to the booking station, arrange packing, follow the empty-tank rule, complete the paperwork and collect it from the station in Surat. Compare the full door-to-door cost and your time, not just the freight figure.
Which railway station in Surat should a bike parcel go to?
Surat has two main stations for long-distance trains: Surat (ST) and Udhna Junction (UDN), a few kilometres apart. Many trains from the Delhi side stop at one or both. Confirm at booking which station the bike will arrive at and that its parcel office is handling two-wheelers on that train.
Can I ride my bike from Gurgaon to Surat instead?
Experienced riders do it, but plan for two to three long days. Two-wheelers are not allowed on access-controlled expressways, including the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, the Dwarka Expressway and the Ahmedabad–Vadodara Expressway, so you have to use permitted national and state highways. Get the bike serviced, keep luggage light and plan overnight stops.
Do I need to re-register my Haryana bike in Surat?
Transporting the bike does not change its registration. If you keep and use it in Gujarat for more than twelve months, Haryana's guidance links that to applying for reassignment in the new state, which normally needs a clearance from the original registering authority. Surat has more than one RTO, such as GJ-05 for Surat city and GJ-28 at Pal, so your residential address decides which office handles it. Check road tax with the Gujarat transport department and ask your lender for an NOC if the bike is financed.
What happens if the bike reaches Surat before I do?
Ask before dispatch whether holding is available, for how long, at what daily charge and how redelivery will work. If not, name a receiver in Surat or move the dispatch date so the bike arrives after you.
Is transit insurance included in the Gurgaon to Surat price?
Not automatically. Your written quote should say whether transit cover is included, the declared value, the premium, who the insurer or responsible party is and the main exclusions. Your own motor policy may not cover the bike while it is carried as goods.
